Accommodation

Hospitals employing RMOs provide accommodation during duty weeks only. Some hospitals may allow the RMO to leave some luggage there during "off" weeks.

The company has a house in Birmingham which provides accommodation for up to four people. These places are reserved for stand by doctors and on a “first come, first served” basis for off duty doctors. There is a nominal charge made per night. The house is fully equipped with clean bedding and necessary linen, likewise all cooking and serving facilities. There is a good sized garden complete with garden furniture and a barbeque. The house and garden are serviced weekly.
