What about off duty accommodation?
Hospitals employing RMOs provide accommodation during duty weeks only. Some hospitals may allow the RMO to leave some luggage there during "off" weeks.
The company has a house in Birmingham which provides accommodation for up to four people. These places are reserved for stand by doctors and on a “first come, first served” basis for off duty doctors. There is a nominal charge made per night. The house is fully equipped with clean bedding and necessary linen, likewise all cooking and serving facilities. There is a pleasant size garden complete with necessary garden furniture and a barbeque. The house and garden are serviced weekly.
