Documents we will need:

  • A copy of your passport. Please note that if you are not an EU National you will need a work permit and a “right to remain in the UK” stamp in your passport. Please contact us for further advice on this or visit http://www.workpermit.com/uk/permanent.htm for more information.
  • Current curriculum vitae (as per our template at the bottom of our application page here)
  • At least two original and recent references from satisfactory referees. One should cover the last six months and at least one should cover work done during the previous two years.
  • Laboratory report to show Hepatitis B immunity (Hep B surface antibody titre to show a titre of more than 100iu/l.) If your titre is below 100iu/l we will ask you to have a booster dose of vaccine. This is the only blood test we require. It is purely there to show that you are immune to Hep B after vaccination. You will need to bring photo-identity to the laboratory and have them sign a form (which we will supply to you) to prove that the sample comes from the right person.
  • GMC Status – please give number if you already hold registration. If you do not already have full GMC registration, you will need to view the GMC website at www.gmc-uk.org
  • Resuscitation qualifications (ALS/EPLS ) and the dates that current certificates expire. All certificates should have at least one year to run before their expiry date; if they haven't then new/refresher courses should be booked within the 12 months following that expiry date. This can be arranged by us if you inform us this is necessary. All resuscitation courses must have been taken in English language and be accredited by AHA or ERC.
  • A TB screening form (which we will supply to you) completed by your GP or occupational health doctor. Doctors from the EU are not required to have a chest x-ray. Doctors from high TB incidence areas (e.g South African, India and Pakistan) are required to have a chest x-ray for immigration purposes only.
  • Police Clearance Report / Certificate of Good Standing (If you have worked in the UK within the last 12 months, you will also need to provide a CRB certificate). Certificates of Good Standing (Police Clearance Certificates) will be required from your home country if you have not worked in the UK before. We will help you to obtain these documents if you require.
  • Photo (passport size is acceptable).
  • Our Health and Conduct questionnaires which we will provide for you on application.

Ideally, documentation should be emailed to us at: team@rmointernational.co.uk, but you can also post it to us at our Head Office address: RMO International Healthcare LLP, Saxon Business Park, Hanbury Road, Stoke Prior, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, B60 4AD or send by fax to +44 (0) 1527 882298.
