What kind of rotation do you offer?
Doctors who choose not to opt out of the 48 hour week contained in the Working Time Regulations may only be on duty for two days per week and should not work anywhere else during the remaining five days. Doctors who do opt out usually choose a TOOF routine – two weeks on, one week off, although we do have routines which are WOWO – one week on, one week off. We also offer psychiatric routines of conventional working hours (9am-5pm) with some weekly on-call night duty and a shared on-call weekend routine.
Our contracts are normally for a fixed term of either 3, 6 or 12 months.
