What about tax, medical aid and health insurance?

As an employee, you are obliged to pay income tax on UK earnings and this is deducted from the weekly pay. Most RMOs are able to claim back some tax if they don't work in the UK for a whole tax year and we will help you with this or act on your behalf for a small fee. You will have to contribute to National Insurance (NI) and that equates to around £325 approx per month worked.

You are automatically entitled to National Health care but we do suggest that you register with a General Practitioner too; it is helpful if you need antibiotics or long term medication. Additional private health insurance can be taken out through one of the many providers – see Internet or Yellow Pages telephone Directory.
