Why should I choose you?

We are not the only company to provide RMO services and we think that it is healthy for you to compare us with others and seek the opinions of doctors who have already worked for us. Pay packages vary these days and the promise of higher pay may not be matched by the same availability of work. You need to read the fine print as well! For instance, is there a penalty clause if you finish your contract early and will your ALS courses and MPS/MDU cover be paid for you?

We have a proven track record in the RMO industry and many of the 3,500+ doctors who we have employed have been referred to us by their friends and colleagues. We aim to be the “professional company with the personal touch” and we have testimonials which support that claim (see "Testimonials" page). We appreciate that many of you will have to cope with clinical and cultural differences during your time with us and we offer everyone as much support as they need. We have two Clinical Managers, both of whom have worked for us as RMOs, and who are always available to help sort out clinical issues. We offer you the help of a “UK Mother” who has been with us for 6 years and who is available at any time should you need her to deal with any non-clinical problems that you choose to send her way. Our Rota Manager and his team plan all of your journeys in the UK and provide personalised transport if timings are tight, and one of us is on call 24 hours a day, every day of the year.

From the day you make contact with us we will guide and help you, meet and greet you on arrival in the UK and accompany you to the GMC for your ID check if necessary. We will also give you an advance on your salary to cover any journeys you may have to make or essentials you may have forgotten! We will either take you to your first hospital or provide you with a detailed journey to get you there and, once there, ensure that you receive a thorough induction with an experienced RMO. Accommodation and food will be provided during your induction.

We can help organise bank accounts, offer advice on immigration documentation, help you to obtain a visa if you are going on an overseas holiday, arrange for a National Insurance number, help you to complete relevant tax forms and much more. We will do anything in our power to make your stay with us both pleasant and profitable.

There are 12 of us in the administration team and between us we have over 80 years service with the company. That means that we are a stable organisation, we are experienced in our roles, and we enjoy being here.
